Nestle's origins stretch back to1867 in Vevey, Switzerland, Merchant chemist Henri Nestle developed a product based "on wholesome cow's milk" that could be used in the first months of an infant's life if a mother is unable to breast-feed her child. Nestle company began to develop other products, including the first condensed milk in Europe (1905), the first Nestle Milk Chocolate (1911) and in 1938 the first soluble coffee.
