Nestle's origins stretch back to1867 in Vevey, Switzerland, Merchant chemist Henri Nestle developed a product based "on wholesome cow's milk" that could be used in the first months of an infant's life if a mother is unable to breast-feed her child. Nestle company began to develop other products, including the first condensed milk in Europe (1905), the first Nestle Milk Chocolate (1911) and in 1938 the first soluble coffee.

Today, Nestle is the world's largest food company with 509 factories in 74 countries and 231,000 employees. It's sales are valued at over US$50 billion.

Ltd., part of the Nestle Group is a Jordanian limited liability company formed pursuant to the Ministry of Trade and Industry's decision dated July 20^th, 1995 under the number 4075 in accordance with the Jordanian Companies' law.
